How To Hang Prints
-
Canvas Prints
Gallery wrapped canvas
is a canvas that is wrapped around the stretcher bars and attached to the back of the wood instead of on the sides. The canvas can be either stapled to the back or splined. Our canvas prints have a stapled back. They ome ready to hang and have soft rubber dots on bottom back corners for support. -
Fine Art Prints
Fine art paper prints
are a watercolor type paper that has a soft textured surface with a matte appearance. I would suggest these be matted and framed under glass.
Some tips on matting:
-Double matting creates more depth between the frame and the
artwork.-Dark inner mat brings out the lights in a work.
-Light inner mat brings out the darks in a work.
I would recommend an acid free mat board & foam core, to
preserve the longevity of your artwork. Really anything that touches your artwork should be acid free. -
Semi Gloss Prints
Semi Gloss Art Prints
of my original work are printed on museum grade paper, (which is known to be archival) and can be stored for a long time without turning yellow. These prints can be hung using double sided tape or framed. As with any artwork on
paper I would suggest framing for a clean sophisticated look.
